Age-Restricted Communities
Some properties may be located in legally recognized senior or age-restricted housing. In these cases:
- Hosts must clearly disclose any restrictions in the listing.
- Restrictions must comply with local, state, and federal law (including the Housing for Older Persons Act, HOPA).
- Restrictions must be applied consistently to all guests.
- Outside of these lawful exemptions, age or family-status restrictions are not permitted.
Accountability
- Violations of this policy may result in suspension or removal from the platform.
